This hardworking vendor opened a floating noodle shop to reach more customers in Thailand.

The entrepreneur Nita Waiyingyuth, 33, has been selling noodles for the past decade in Kanchanaburi province, but decided to build the roving stall on a boat to increase her income.

She planned to reach more clients in a residential and resort area across the Srinakarin Dam in the province's Si Sawat District.

Nita's investment paid off, and she eventually expanded her customer base as her noodles were a hit with the tourists.

As her business grew, so did her offerings. Aside from noodles, she now also sells fruits, beverages, clothes, toiletries, and even lottery tickets.

Despite her success, Nita continues to persevere, with her business hours stretching from 10:00 am to 2:00 am the next day.

She said: 'Many tourists become hungry at night so they come to my raft to find something to eat. My income has been good ever since I started selling on the boat.

'Business is especially busy during the weekends, when visitors come to travel and stay at the resort.'

Nita added that her shop has inspired other vendors to follow suit and build their own floating stores.
