An overly-excited player lost a bottle flip relay with family despite his team's big lead.
Xavier Yul Cruz did multiple attempts before he made the plastic bottle stand up in Batangas province, the Philippines on December 24.
As the relative had difficulty with the task, he could not focus on the second part of the relay, which was tic-tac-toe.
Footage shows the competitive family members flipping bottles and playing the DIY board game with saucers and brownies before Xavier incorrectly marked it, making the other team the winner.
He said: ‘We took a rental house to spend Christmas Day together and played the game. We lost, but we all had fun.'
