A hero motorcycle rider helped an injured stray dog that was hit by a car in Thailand.

Suparak was travelling with a friend on a two-wheeler when they noticed the fluffy white pooch in the middle of a road in Nong Khao province on December 24.

He quickly pulled over and with the help of his pillion passenger, they carried the creature to safety.

Footage shows Suparak and his friend feeding the resting dog on the grassy side of the road.

He said: ‘I was heading to Phon Phisai district but on our way we saw the dog lying in the middle of the road.'

Suparak added that while feeding the dog a passing Good Samaritan offered to take the stray to the vet for treatment.

He said: ‘I am relieved the dog was fine. Drivers should be more careful and responsible next time.'
