Since the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) opened to the public, Plaza dels Angels, the entrance hall to the museum, has become one of the favorite spaces for a multitude of young skaters with their noisy skates. This situation has caused some inconvenience to the neighbors who live in the museum area. The city council of Barcelona has tried with little success to regulate the practices of these skaters, especially at night. MACBA has an expansion project on the square that will presumably permanently limit the space.
