This shocking footage shows the moment an overcrowded bus carrying passengers on its rooftop overturned on the street in East Burdwan, India. One person died in the accident and 40 others were injured. Three are in critical condition. The injured passengers are now being treated at the Katwa Sub-division hospital.

The vehicle lost control when travelling at a very high speed on the Katwa-Birbhum state highway.

The CCTV footage was released by the traffic police.

This is a dramatic cctv footage which shows how a overloaded passenger bus turns turtle on the road, it can be seen in cctv footage that many passengers were boarded on the top of the bus and fell down on the road after accident.
The accident which happened in Nwonagar area on Katwa - Birbhum state highway was captured under traffic close circut camera installed there by traffic police.
The bus lost its control while moving at a considerably high speed, so far one passenger has reportedly lost his life and some 40 other got injured. The injured were admitted to katwa sub divisional hospital.
The driver and conductor of the bus managed to escape after the accident
