Taxi Driver Holds Cat As Ransom After Customer Allegedly Refused To Pay

A taxi driver was holding a cat as ‘ransom’ after a customer allegedly tried to get away without paying them.  

31-year-old Kiz was filming the tense moment whilst at his home Hollingdean, after he heard a commotion outside. 

In the video, a person can be seen pleading with the driver who was saying ‘all I want is my money’, whilst the man was screaming ‘they’ve got my cat’. 

The tense standoff happens for a few minutes before eventually the man appears to pay up and the taxi driver opens the car for him to get his cat. 

Kiz said: “A Man refused to pay a cabbie, so the cabbie held his cat hostage. 

“I thought that it was going to get ugly but thought the whole situation was hilarious,”:
