A group of pensioners have gone viral on TikTok after recreating the popular new Miley Cyrus hit "Flowers".

Residents at the StoryPoint Senior Living home in Saline, Michigan, US, decided to perform the smash hit – which is all about self-love.

The retirement community members took turns to the mouthlines of the song.

Another woman takes over to finish the line, producing a bouquet of flowers for "…I can buy myself flowers".

A third resident takes over, swirling her hands in a tub of sand for the line "…Write my name in the sand".

Next up a woman holds a mirror to her face and giggles for "…Talk to myself for hours, say things you don’t understand".

They crank things up a notch for the next line "I can take myself dancing", as a resident sways down the corridor.

Another woman sits in a chair and clasps her hands together for the next line, "…and I can hold my own hand".

The group of six residents then gather together by a sofa and mime the final line, "Yeah I can love me better than you can".
