The video was captured by @noviyantiulpah, who was on her way to the DKM mother's pool located in Ngaliweut. She was filming a documentary video for her KKN assignment when the incident happened.

To reach the location of the pond, the group had to pass through a garden and cross a bridge named the Cirangkong Bridge. The bridge, which was made of wood, was already quite fragile, as was evident in the video as well. When she and her group tried to cross the bridge, it collapsed under their weight.
