Frenzied bargain-chasers shoved each other and clambered on racks during a sale at a used clothes shop.

The crowd poured inside the secondhand goods store even before the roll-up doors were fully opened in Lucena City, the Philippines on February 24.

Racing to take the best deals, some propelled themselves to the ceiling standing on clothes stands.

Footage shows the chaotic shoppers leaping up to snatch the branded shirts.

Store owner Mildred Garcia Bundalian said: 'That usually happens when we display new items. It's crazy. Even I didn't expect that would happen.'

Mildred added that some customers even camp outside the shop every time she announces new arrivals.

She said: 'They bring sleeping mats and sleep in line so that they would be the first ones to enter when we open the doors.'
