Brave Buddhist monks threw scarves on a python's head to catch the serpent.

The orange-robed men rushed outside the temple when they heard panicked screams in Kalasin province, Thailand on February 17.

Upon seeing the reptile, the fearless religious leaders tossed the pieces of cloth on the creature to conceal its vision.

Footage shows the monks working together to remove the snake. They carried the python in bare hands and placed it in an empty rice sack.

Monk Sutthiwatt Russameekachorn said: ‘It was not the first time a snake was here. The temple lies close to nature, so we knew what to do.'
