Harry Styles duets with fan to help with marriage proposal during his concert
Harry Styles dueted with a fan to help with a marriage proposal during his concert.
The British pop singer read posters at the VIP Standing area when he saw one that caught his attention saying: ‘Harry, boyfriend says he will propose if you duet with him' in the Manila leg of his Love on Tour concert on March 14.
Harry stopped his set to ask the couple: ‘What's your name? Michelle. And who are you tonight with at the show? Jeff.'
The arena burst out cheering as the former One Direction band member shouted: ‘Make some noise for Michelle and Jeff.'
Before answering the fan's request, Harry said: ‘Everybody wants to get married tonight. Who wants to get married tonight?'
He then asked the couple: ‘Jeff, are you ready to get married? Michelle, are you ready? Are you sure? Yes? What do you want to sing, Jeff?'
Jeff apparently answered ‘Sign of the Times' as Harry repeated it to the crowd.
Footage shows Harry on stage introducing Jeff as the couple flashed on the big screen behind. Jeff was given a microphone and began singing the song.
In the middle of singing, Harry asked Michelle: ‘Are you going to marry him, Michelle?'
While singing, the fan Jeff paused momentarily and finally asked his girlfriend: ‘Michelle, will you marry me?'
As the arena cheered, Harry Styles picked up on the song and changed a few lines for the couple singing: ‘Michelle is gonna marry Jeff, Michelle is gonna marry Jeff.'
