dozens of children in the city of Padang enthusiastically took part in an event to paint Arabic calligraphy in front of the Mujahidin Mosque, every day during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijriyah.

Dimas the initiator of the evant said "here all the children paint what they feel, especially in Arabic writing or things that are known about the Islamic religion."

"mostly children paint calligraphy with Arabic writing which makes them happy, competing with their friends, the aim of this event is to reduce children's stress levels during fasting and so that they are not dependent on playing cell phones,".

one of the children who took part in painting, 5 year old Syifa said "very happy, it's crowded here and I am accompanied by my sister and mother, painting here while waiting for the time to break the fast,"
