How to style your hair if you have alopecia: Tips on how to disguise hair loss
A woman with alopecia has made a video giving tips on how to disguise hair loss and achieve a fuller-looking head of hair.
Lacie Rodriguez, an alternative hair consultant, told Newsflare: "I have androgenic alopecia and have struggled with thinning hair for almost 20 years.
"Normally I wear hair toppers but this video includes tips on how to make thin hair look fuller and disguise diffused hair loss. I use a scalp concealer, hair fibres, and teasing powder to get as much lift, volume, and coverage as possible.
"I’ve struggled with thinning hair for almost 20 years. I advocate for women who are losing their hair and trying to come to terms with permanent hair loss. In this video, I’m showing all the tricks that I used for many years to conceal my hair loss and make the best of the hair I had left.
"Nowadays I wear hair toppers and help other women find the right topper for them as well. But for anyone who is struggling with the frustration and sometimes depression that comes with hair loss—this is a great video to show how to make the best of the situation and make your hair look fuller."
