Passing motorists stopped to help a delivery rider when his cargo caught fire.

The drivers were moving along a busy road when the motorcyclist pulled over with one of the parcels on his back emitting smoke in Ayutthaya province, Thailand on March 12.

Suddenly, flames engulfed a box and began to spread around the scooter before the kind onlookers jumped in to help.

Footage shows a food delivery rider rushing to help the man put out the blaze. A second rider went to assist them until the fire was successfully controlled.

Onlooker Techin Insook who was driving in the opposite lane said: ‘Some car drivers left because they didn't want to be caught in the traffic jam. The riders that helped were very kind.'

No one was hurt but some of the parcels were damaged by the fire.
