Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of the horrible moment seven gangsters armed with sticks attacked a breakfast restaurant.

In the video, captured on the restaurant security cameras in Hubei Province last month, the group wearing masks break into the hall and smash things for around two minutes, injuring several employees before running away.

One of the staff then chases the gang outside to their minibus where they can be seen on camera shockingly driving over her as she lies on the road.

According to news reports, the attackers were brought by a customer of the restaurant who had been criticised by the shop owner over queue jumping the other day.

The woman hit by the minibus survived the strike and is still hospitalised, while other staff suffered minor injuries.

The police have reportedly arrested three of the seven suspects with further investigations ongoing.
