Two hungry wild deer visited a barbecue restaurant to ask for food.

The smell of marinated pork grilling attracted the hoofed creatures at an eatery near Phu Kradueng national park in Loei province, Thailand, on April 19.

While most deer avoid humans, the pair went near the packed place and sniffed on an empty table.

Footage shows the forest animals appearing to wait for a tourist to throw them food. One of them had already tasted leftovers, while the other remained two steps behind.

Tourist Kittaporn Janpeng who visited the area to relax, said: ‘The deers wanted to sit and eat barbecue with us. They were adorable.'

It was unclear if the creatures were given food, but an old man was seen pulling them away from the restaurant and back into the forest.
