In a bizarre incident in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Russia, on 4th of May, 2023 a patient escaped from a moving ambulance while being transported for injuries sustained in a fight. According to local reports, the incident was captured on camera by a car driving behind the ambulance.

The video footage shows the ambulance slowing down at an intersection, and suddenly the back door opens, and a young man falls out of the vehicle onto the pavement. After hesitantly getting to his feet, the man hurriedly starts running away, while the ambulance drives off without noticing the escapee.

The patient, who was wounded in the neck during the fight, had been called in for medical attention by the police. However, he managed to escape from the ambulance while still in transit to the hospital.

Local media reports indicate that the police are searching for the fugitive, who is still at large.
