CCTV captured the moment a little girl learned a hard lesson in cycling - with her forgetting to pull the brakes and crashing into a wet rice paddy field.

The youngster was practising her riding skills in the streets outside their home when the incident happened in Ayutthaya province, Thailand on April 20.

But the girl panicked as she sped down the sloped path and failed to pull the brakes.

CCTV footage shows the child on her two-wheeler as she went straight into the field, splashing water as she plunged down. Thankfully she was unhurt after the cycling fail.

Neighbour Sarawut Sookpan said: ‘I feel sorry for the little girl but that's how she learns. I know she will be more careful next time.'
