Western Grey Kangaroos (Macropus fuliginosus) have adapted well to the establishment of pastures for sheep and cattle in southern Australia. This large, 92-strong mob of Kangaroos shared the pasture near houses in Albany with beef cattle, grazing, grooming, resting and play-fighting as the winter sun set. Young male Kangaroos play-fight to establish dominance – three of them engaged in a bit of kicking and wrestling, backlit by the setting sun.
