A sea snake devoured a white ribbon eel in a rare encounter captured by a diver off Ko Racha Yai, a Thai island.

The filmer told Newsflare: "I was scuba diving at Ko Racha Yai, Phuket, when I came across a very rare white ribbon eel completely out in the open so I started filming it and then suddenly out of know where came a sea snake which attacked and ate the eel over a fairly long time."
