At least 30 dead in eastern India after multiple trains collide, crushing passengers
At least 30 people have been killed with a rising number of injured after trains collided in India's eastern Odisha state on Friday (June 2).
Officials report that two passenger trains and a goods train were involved.
"Rescue ops are underway at the site of the mishap and all possible assistance is being given to those affected," said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Visuals from the accident show trains being crushed and injured passengers being rescued.
