Royal Navy officers jump into sea to save drowning puppy in Malaysia
Malaysian Royal Navy officers jumped into the sea to save a drowning puppy.
The group spotted the exhausted puppy struggling to stay afloat near a port in Perak on April 24.
After planning the rescue, one of the squaddies plunged into the water and dragged an orange inflatable swim ring towards the animal.
His colleague followed and jumped to assist as the dog kept trying to swim away and together, they pulled the pooch back to safety.
Officer Khairul Rizuan Bin Muhammad said: ‘All lives are important to us. We saw the puppy needed help, so we only did what was right.'
The pair of Navy officers paddled with the dog and placed it in a bucket which was lifted up.
It was unhurt and fed at the station where it would stay together with the other adopted dogs.
