Footage of fully armed French police officers talking to staff at the Pullman Hotel in Paris on Saturday, after customers were evacuated from the restaurant during what turned out to be a false alarm.

The video, captured at the hotel's basement floor on Saturday evening, shows the police updating staff on the situation who then relay they message to customers.

According to the filmer, "the video clip ends as we are guided to a pitch black room in the corner of the basement for security purposes."

The video was shot by Jono Bate, a 24-year-old IT manager from Manchester, UK, who was visiting the city over the weekend as it was shaken by terror attacks.

According to local reports heavily armed police were seen entering the hotel and nearby areas cordoned off, but the incident turned out to be a false alarm.
