This is the terrifying moment a landslide tumbled onto a road amid heavy rain from Typhoon Doksuri in China.

CCTV footage from a government highway camera shows the avalanche sweeping soil, mud, and uprooted trees onto a road in Dehong prefecture, Yunnan province on July 28.

Typhoon Doksuri slammed into the eastern Chinese province of Fujian on July 28 morning, days after battering neighbouring Philippines.

The storm displaced thousands, triggered landslides, knocked down power, and left at least 11 people dead and 27 missing in Beijing following torrential rains, state media reported.

Remnants of Doksuri are still battering the capital, with the flooding described as the worst Beijing has seen in more than 70 years.

Locals are now preparing as another typhoon Khanun is approaching the country's eastern coast.
