Grey Heron catches and eats a vole at a Leeds park
A Heron was seen catching and eating a small mammal at a park in Yorkshire this afternoon (3rd August)
The Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) was in long grass at Roundhay Park in Leeds, when the heron captured what appears to be a Vole. The large bird is seen turning it's prey around before swallowing it whole.
