A large and powerful typhoon Khanun changed its course, returning to Okinawa and Amami Region, southwestern Japan on Saturday, August 5.

Khanun impacted logistics, causing shortages of food and other essential items. Empty shelves were seen at supermarkets and convenience stores in the area.
