A grief-stricken mother held her late daughter's picture while collecting her degree.

Mum Genelyn Eldialde lost her child Camilla Lyka earlier this year in January, just a couple of months before her graduation ceremony.

But Genelyn refused to miss the ocassion and showed up to receive the girl's diploma.

Footage shows the mother walking to the stage with the youngster's portrait as she took the departed marketing student's certificate of completion.

Schoolmate Jovee Arianne Pormento said: ‘I know her daughter is ar peace and happy watching her mother.'

Genelyn raised Camilla's picture to the crowd showing how she was proud of her daughter. The graduates then clapped their hands in support of the grieving mother.
