Footage of the scene in Abingdon, UK after a shopper was reportedly stabbed to death at a branch of Poundland on Monday.

The video shows what appears to be a large knife laying in the road and a man on the floor being restrained.

The filmer wrote online: "A man was wielding a knife in one hand with a sharp cooking implement in the other through Abingdon town centre Monday morning after stabbing a man in pound land, walking through the precinct he was heard shouting things like 'do you want me to stab you as well?' To members of the public as he walked through until he was approached by a police officer and arrested dropping the knife across the road also the 2 men helped the officer keep the man calm and on the floor."
