Holiday makers play in dangerous high tide waves as Storm Betty gives Penzance promenade a pummelling

The second named storm of the summer break is hitting Cornwall tonight as Storm Betty makes herself felt with huge waves pounding the Victorian promenade at Penzance. Normally waves of this size and power are only seen in the depths of winter. Is climate change to blame for the anomaly of these two recent storms?
