Commuter afraid to be late smashes bus door to get off
A commuter in China kicked and broke the front door of a bus to get off after he realised getting on a wrong route and wanted to avoid being late.
The dramatic footage, captured on the bus security camera in Shanghai on Tuesday, shows the 25-year-old man making several attempts before managing to make his way. However, the bus driver follows immediately and seizes him until the police arrive.
According to news reports, the driver refused the man's demand to get off between stops which prompted the unusual action. He was later arrested by the police and asked to pay more than 1,000 yuan (£100) for the repair fee.
