An Egyptian expert has said initiatives proposed by China have promoted the strength of BRICS and the world economy.

"China's presence in any organization, especially BRICS, is important because its initiatives, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, enhance the group's economic strength. Those initiatives speed up development and enhance the global economy and stability."

He said as an attractive gathering, more and more countries desire to join BRICS, which signals its increasing influence as an economic force.

"More and more countries desire to join BRICS because they see it as a huge attractive influential economic force. Joining the bloc will increase investments, trade exchange, and development opportunities between its member states, and the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB) could offer soft loans."

He noted that cooperation among BRICS member states is a model to learn from.
