This is the heartwarming moment a student pilot took his proud parents on their first flight with him.

Trainee Joshua Caducoy invited his parents on a practice flight with him at his training school while they were visiting him in the Philippines from the U.S. on June 8.

Footage shows Joshua smiling in the cockpit beside his flight instructor while her mum Jossette Siong, 53, and stepfather Sheldon, 54, sat behind them in the helicopter over Bohol province.

Mother Jossette was nervous and hugged her husband for support as she was afraid of heights while their son flew them above the famous Chocolate Hills.

Joshua said: ‘I can feel that they were both proud of me but at the same time worried because there was light turbulence.'
