In a touching family moment in Gilbert, Arizona, on July 20, 2023, two young brothers named Colin, 11, and James, 7, were met with an adorable surprise. Their parents had finally decided to get a new puppy named Meg, or Megalodon after the family had lost their 15-year-old dog about two and a half years ago. The boys walked into their home from school, engaged in their normal routine, and didn't notice Meg for almost two minutes. When they finally laid eyes on her, it was love at first sight.

"They instantly fell in love," the parents shared.

Our kids had been asking for a new dog for about a year, 11 & 7 year olds and their names are Colin and James. Our new puppy’s name is Meg aka Megalodon.

We lost our 15 year dog about 2.5 years ago. We decided to get a puppy but wanted to surprise our two boys. They walked in the house from school and did their normal routine and never saw the puppy. She sat there for almost 2 min before they even saw her and then they instantly fell in love.
