Fans are salivating over K-Pop themed Black and Pink burgers in Thailand.

Fast food giant Burger King has rolled out the meals amid uncertainty surrounding the future of the Blackpink dance group, with one member, Lisa Manoban, yet to sign a new contract.

Footage shows a follower - currently anxious over her favourite act's prospects - tucking into the chocolate charcoal bun called the Black Whopper Junior, along with a fish burger in a pink bun served with cocktail sauces.

Burger King said its Black N' Pink burgers are available from September 14 to November 14. A similar stunt was launched in February 2021 when more than 40,000 Blackpink burgers were sold in a single month.

It comes amid uncertainty over the future of the manufactured K-Pop outfit.

Publicly traded shares in the Korean agency YG Entertainment, which manages the group, plunged on Friday when it emerged that Lisa had rejected two contract offers worth up to 40 million USD. Contracts in Korea are believed to last around seven years.

Born in Thailand's impoverished northeasten ricelands, Lisa is reportedly holding out for an even larger sum.

The girl band are now coming to an end of their Born Pink world tour involving dancing, singing and lip-syncing.
