A cat managed to escape the perilous situation of being cornered by two bears after venturing into an enclosure at a zoo in Buenos Aires on September 2.

Footage captured by @baltaaa4 shows the feline named Wilson attempting to evade the pursuing bears by scaling the steep enclosure walls.

When it looked like all hope was lost, the cat managed to escape the grasp of one of the bears and find refuge on a rock near a pond, just out of the bears' reach.

It isn't known if the cat managed to escape.

The bears wasted no time in pursuing the intruder, cornering it momentarily. Amidst the tense scene, the author could be heard anxiously calling out for Wilson. Miraculously, the nimble cat managed to outwit the bears, darting away and seeking refuge on a rock near a water pond. Wilson held his ground as the bears eventually gave up and retreated.
