Star Wars The Force Awakens Theater Fail

We had been waiting in line at the Carmike at Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne Indiana all day. The local news had come and done interviews, there were friendly lightsaber fights in line, and now we had been in the theater for an hour. We expected the lights to dim at 7 PM. But they didn't. The theater manager came out and thanked us all for coming to the very first showing, asked us to tag the theater in our social media posts and generally tried to get the crowd excited. Then came the admission that he was stalling because there was a problem with the projector.

The fear started to set in. Surely they wouldn't screw this up after we waited all day in the freezing conditions.

Then he came back out and accounted that the problem was just with the trailers, and they were going to skip them! The cheer that erupted was gigantic. We were now going to start the movie 20 minutes before anyone else in the country!

The lights dimmed, the music started and then you can see here what happened.
