The sixth China-Arab States Expo, which concluded on Sunday in Yinchuan, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has wowed foreign attendees with rich products and services of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Over the years, TCM has been gaining greater popularity worldwide, especially in the countries and regions along the Belt and Road.

A medical team from China's Ningxia has set up a TCM consulting room in Benin in 2023 and pushed forward the development of online medical care services in the western African country.

"With the platform, people in Benin can receive better TCM treatments. The number of outpatient visits has risen sharply."
According to a plan issued by central government agencies in 2022, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), China aims to jointly establish 30 high-quality TCM centers with countries along the Belt and Road.
