SOUNDBITE 1 (English): SIMONE INCONTRO, General Manager of Greater China, Veronafiere S.p.A.
"China in Asia is the number one country. And we chose (to hold the fair) every year in May in Shenzhen. So we think Shenzhen, the Greater Bay Area is a key area for Italian wine in China. My feeling is that Chinese wine is very important and Italian wine needs to open a dialogue with Chinese winemakers. Good Chinese winemakers and good Italian winemakers together, they can make a difference, and they can make grow the share of the market."

Andrea Lonardi, a renowned Italian wine expert, highlighted the rapid evolution and great potential of the Chinese wine consumer market.

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): ANDREA LONARDI, Italian wine expert
"There is the community that is there today. And this community is trying to develop to bring the Chinese market in a better dimension, a more educated way of tasting wines, where the wines become lighter. (It means) that the (Chinese) market is moving from a new market to become a consolidated market for wine with the segmentation of styles and people that are drinking, selling, distributing different types of wines."
