The "Bohai Century" Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit of Qinhuangdao 32-6 Oilfield successfully handled the 1,000th crude oil tanker on Saturday.
Located in the center of the Bohai Sea, Qinhuangdao 32-6 oilfield, with reserves of over 100 million tonnes, was discovered by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) in 1995.
Over the past 22 years since the oilfield was put into operation, it has produced more than 270 million barrels of crude oil.
