A Ryanair plane collided with a truck while it was parking at the London Stansted Airport on October 4.

CCTV shows how the Boeing 737, which had just arrived from Luxembourg on flight FR2861, was making a perfect turn onto the yellow line in front of the gate.

However, a mobility truck that helps disabled passengers leave the aircraft misjudged the speed and the driver pulled in front of the jet's right wing.

The operator of the vehicle tried to reverse but was too slow and the wing clipped the roof. The plane, registered EI-EGD, and the ground truck were both damaged.

The 13-year-old Boeing was reported to have been grounded since the collision. There were no injuries reported and the passengers disembarked safely.

Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has not commented on the collision.
