Chef prepares ramen noodles like an absolute pro in Malaysia
A skillful chef prepared ramen noodles like an absolute pro, tossing them around like a long ribbon.
Footage shows the cook making spirals with the hand-pulled noodles in front of customers to elongate them at the Haidilao Hot Pot Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 9.
When he achieved the right length, he cut it into thinner strips and served them to a couple's table with a pot of boiling soup.
He mixed the broth to make sure it was cooked before leaving to serve another guest.
Holidaymaker Irene Rose Ortega said: 'We had a unique experience of watching Kung fu Ramen being prepared while we enjoyed hot pot. It's so exciting.
'As a devoted foodie, I wanted to try Haidilao when I found it after shopping. We were greeted and promptly provided with aprons and hair ties for our hair.
'We opted for the four-flavour combination: Mala, which is spicy, tomato, chicken and pork, and pepper broths. They were all very tasty. From plump prawns to silky tofu, slurp-worthy noodles, and an assortment of fresh vegetables, there was no shortage of options to elevate our culinary adventure.
'But what truly set Haidilao apart was the unforgettable Kung Fu ramen performance. A maestro at our table crafted these noodles with flair and precision, dipping them into the bubbling hotpot broths before our very eyes.
'Haidilao isn't just a restaurant. It's a memorable journey. If you're in Kuala Lumpur and desire a blend of flavours, entertainment, and value, make Haidilao your destination. Your taste buds will thank you.'
