A clever goat learned to open the gate by copying how his owner unlatches the lock.

Footage shows the farm animal biting the rusty iron bolt and lifting it upwards to unlock it while his owner watched from the outside in Heilongjiang, China, on September 13.

Goats have a good memory and can learn and solve complex tasks. Researchers at the Queen Mary University of London trained a group of goats to retrieve food from a box using a linked sequence of steps, and most of the animals still remembered how to work the device for up to ten months.
