A thrill-seeker wore an evening gown on a zip line across a well-known waterfall in Laos.

Footage shows Chonnasit Nakcharoen dressed up in a white ball gown and orange helmet while sliding down the cable to see a magnificent view of the Tad Fane Waterfall in Champasak province on October 8.

Chonnasit said: 'I really like challenging activities. Before going to Bolaven with friends, we thought about what to wear while playing. So I thought I should dress in a fluffy, spectacular evening gown. I bought it in Thailand and it weighs 9kg. It's quite heavy, but I want to wear it to go ziplining.'

Tad Fane Waterfall is made up of two separate falls that cascade down the side of a cliff into a pool below surrounded by lush green forest.

Communist Laos has no coastline, but it has a spectacular range of waterfalls and untouched hiking trails. However, many of the rivers are being targeted for hydroelectric power by neighbouring China, Japan and South Korea.
