Footage has emerged of an earthquake occurring in northeast China, reportedly caused by North Korea's hydrogen bomb test.

The video, captured on surveillance cameras in Yanji, Jilin Province on Wednesday, shows waves from the tremor as the quake hits.

Later in the footage, we also see still photographs of students and residents being evacuated from buildings. Cracks can also be seen in the ground.

According to the local reports, people in Yanji, Huichun and Changbai county, which are located near the border between China and North Korea, felt the quake's tremors the most.
