On 13 November a shortage of QR code scanners at a warehouse in Koledino, near Moscow, led to an altercation, a hospital visit and a police investigation.

As a result of having to share their QR device because of a shortage of them at the Wildberry warehouse, tensions escalated between a Tajik and a Chechen employee.

The dispute began over a battery but quickly escalated into insults and physical violence.

In a disturbing video capturing the incident, the Tajik worker delivered several blows to his Chechen colleague, who suffered head injuries and subsequently lost consciousness.

Prompt intervention by fellow employees prevented further harm and the injured worker was rushed to the hospital.

Law enforcement have opened a criminal case against the assailant.
