A roving bookstore ship has docked at Bangkok, Thailand, on its current tour around Southeast Asia.

The Doulos Hope vessel, operated by German charity GBA Ships, has anchored at the Khlong Toei Port, offering international literature for Thai bibiliophiles.

Known as the International Floating Book Fair, the cruise aims to promote education, literacy, and cultural exchange throughout Southeast Asia.

Various books including self-improvement, children's literature, novels, biographies, sports, and even cookbooks are on sale.

The International Floating Book Fair is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 2 to 9 pm and will stay in Thailand from October 17 to November 26.

The admission fee is 30 baht, with free entry for children under 12 and visitors aged 65 and above.

The Doulos Hope is a ship refurbished from the original Doulos (meaning 'servant' in Greek) vessel built in Germany in 1991. The ship was acquired by GBA Ships on May 25, 2022, and repurposed to accommodate the floating bookstore.
