Collapse of bridge corridors, the concrete tank truck fell into a deep hole due to the collapse of the bridge corridor in Vietnam

On the evening of 5/12, leaders of the People's Committee of Dong Tam ward, Yen Bai city confirmed that in the area where a concrete tank truck fell into a deep hole due to the collapse of the corridor of Khe Lap bridge, at km5, Nguyen Van Cu street, Dong Tam ward, Yen Bai city.
Accordingly, at about 14h on the same day, a concrete tank car backed up and inserted through the pavement corridor, Khe Lap bridge, km5, Nguyen Van Cu street to turn around, suddenly the corridor collapsed, the car fell into a deep hole in a vertical position. Only the front end of the car protruded from the road surface.
At the time of the collapse, there was no concrete on the car. The collapse caused no human casualties, however, cars were damaged.
Upon receiving the notification, representatives of the project investor, construction contractors and authorities quickly arrived at the scene to seal the dangerous area, verify and clarify the causes and damages.

At about 9 p.m. on the same day, the tank truck was pulled from the bridge area.

Authorities said that the collapsed section of the bridge corridor is within the scope of the embankment construction project.This is the area that will be demolished to serve as an intersection when the project is completed.
Earlier, units had reminded some drivers not to make U-turns or go through road corridors into the construction area.
