This persistent cat was seemingly so determined to hop onto a roof that it would not quit despite falling down a dozen feet to the ground several times.

Footage shows the white feline with coloured patches running up the stairs of a home in Cangzhou, in Hebei province, northern China, on December 4.

Then, as it reached the top of the stairway, it tried to jump onto the roof of what seemed to be a storage space a few feet away.

But, unable to make the long distance, it fell on a clothesline and then landed on the ground.

Surprisingly, rather than giving up, it ran back to the top of the stairs just as quickly and once again tried to jump over to the roof.

However, it once again failed and fell down. Still undeterred by the long fall, it made a third failed attempt.

By the end of the video, it appeared to be coming back up for another try. Incredibly, the person who filmed the stubborn feline said it later ran off uninjured.
