Over 30 attendees of the 5th World Media Summit (WMS) were invited on a two-day tour of Kunming, known as China's "Spring City" for its mild climate and year-round blooming flowers.

They visited Dianchi Lake, surrounding fishing villages, and Dounan Flower Market, a major flower trading market in Asia.

"It's a very magnificent place. Yunnan has a very good condition for mixing nature and people's life here."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): GIANMARCO VOLPE, Global desk chief of Agenzia Nova, Italy
"The market (of) flowers is really interesting, really impressive. It's a province rich in biodiversity. It's a province where you can have a lot of different activities to stay in touch with nature. And I think it's more important that you preserve this nature. It's an important resource for your country and for the planet."

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): THIDA TIN, Director General of Media Development Department, Ministry of Information of Myanmar
"I notice there are different kinds of flowers I have never seen in our country, so very interesting. I will share this experience of knowledge with my friends and also with family members."
