The astonishing video shows a deer attacking a woman and pinning her to the wall when she entered its herd's enclosure.

Surveillance camera footage shows the animal continuously hitting the woman in the back, after she entered the enclosure to feed the herd on a breeding farm in Shandong, eastern China.

In the clip, recorded at around 5:06pm on Monday, December 18, the woman can be heard screaming at the deer after it reared up on its hind legs and started punching her with its front hooves.

She can then be heard calling for her husband's help, saying: 'Lao Xu, the deer is beating me! Lao Xu!'

However, despite her efforts to call her husband, he reportedly did not hear her, said media.

The animal halted and backed away just minutes later, after several other deer gathered around them.
